Studio vs On-Site Corporate Headshots: Which Is Right for Your Team?
When a company refreshes its website, launches a team page or onboards a leadership group, headshots usually come up. The first decision is where to shoot. Both options work well. They solve different problems.
Studio headshots
Individuals come to the studio, which has controlled lighting and a seamless background.
Best for: founders, leadership teams, a handful of people, or anyone who wants the most polished result.
- Full control over light, so every photo matches.
- A quiet space away from the office, which helps people relax.
- Easy to reshoot new joiners later in exactly the same style.

On-site headshots
We set up a portable studio in a meeting room or open area at your office.
Best for: larger teams, busy schedules, and companies that want an environmental look.
- No travel for staff. People step out for a few minutes and go back to work.
- Background options: a portable grey or white backdrop, or a softly blurred office.
- Can be combined with team photos or corporate event coverage.
Keeping a team consistent
Whichever option you choose, consistency is what makes a team page look professional:
- Agree a dress code in advance (business, smart casual, or brand colours).
- Use the same background and crop for everyone.
- Record the lighting setup so future hires can be matched.
Cost
Pricing depends on the number of people, looks and location. A corporate on-location shoot at your premises is quoted as a custom package. For individuals, our standard headshot session lists what is included and the price up front.
